S6 1131 GDC, Elora the 8th day of Zummaer Report

General Summary

The party was cautious in their plan to save Cover of Clouds as they had no idea how to reconcile a usurping Manticore and its lioness slaves. Once the party enacted their plan, their subtle fright took hold and they disturbed the waters surrounding the small domain. The cavern exploded with roars and battle as the Manticore took flight with continued volleys of its iron-like tail spikes. All of the party were pressed to find cover from its relentless barrage and some fell to well placed shots. The Rowdy Bunch did not give in and through sheer force of will and teamwork, proved they were a match for the creature. They set up the killing blow for Verdef, who was able to avenge the death of his brother and put the creature down. The party freed Cover of Clouds and the hungry lioness' who once freed, were able to fill their bellies with their captor. The Rowdy Bunch were greeted by the warm setting sun as they emerged from the cave, victorious!
