The Poison Dusk Report
General Summary
It is the 9th of Vult, 996 YK, Akzu and a small group of Masvirik'uala hunters sneak upon a House Tharashk dragonshard mine, in the Hope region of Q'barra. It is grim, regretful work that the hunters must do this night, they would much rather hunt game, but these miners are undoubtedly corrupted by the Cold Sun. They are stripping the light from the land, and allowing the darkness to return. If they are not stopped, the Cold Sun will rise again and plunge the entire world into darkness.
- The Lizardfolk hunters, composed of Akzu, Drik , Haess and Srelzei , sneak up to the mine entrance.
- They dispatch the guards above the entrance without raising the alarm.
- They sneak in, and manage to clear out half of the mine without raising the alarm.
- Haess performs rather poorly, bad rolls :(
- In the largest part of the mine, the alarm was raised by a dragonmarked scion of House Tharashk.
- He was a tough motherfucker! But they killed him, and everyone else.
- Whilst going through and breaking the miners tools, collecting the shards, Akzu picked up a dusk shard.
- Akzu ate the dusk shard, and transformed into a black dragon monster!
- Akzu promptly murdered her friends.
- Akzu awoke, months later, in the wreckage of a dragonshard caravan, a broken priest of the Silver Flame at her feet and a silver arrowhead pendant in her hand.
- Akzu made her way back to her village, where she was welcomed home!
- That night, she did not dream, and in the morning, her tribe had turned on her. She fled into the jungle.
- She made her way to Newthrone, where she survived for several days.
- Eventually, she was approached by Ariana Glas, Terfel's wife. Ariana got her story, and told her to go to New Cyre.
- Akzu made her way to New Cyre via a ship to Trolanport. She now owes Ariana (and by extension, Terfel) 200 gold pieces.
- Akzu introduced herself to Terfel as Dax'Athla.
- Myric called her a scaley
- Dax'Athla called Myric a furry
