The Hunt for Kano Jiro

General Summary

On their path to find Kano Jiro, the party started in New Rousanage. Their first stop, Jiro's. Seeing a surname in common they thought it warrented checking out, and Mr. Tanki Jiro was happy to oblige, just as soon as he had cover in his shop to deal with customers, so the party had some time to kill before Tanki's shift change.
Upon leaving the shop, Shi caught up with Lincoln and grabbed him telling him that the Glitter Golddigger gang had all left town. The party promptly headed to the Glitter Globe to look for clues as to where they might have gone. After some psionic trickery got them in through the service entrance Lincoln found a napkin listing two dates that the bar was going to be closed between and a name, Elysebith.
Meanwhile Alda spotted some exciting looking buttons under the counter and pressed them. Nothing happened immediately but before long the SWAT division of the 40th-60th floor Aurora Guard burst in through the front door. Once the party had shown themselves to be unarmed (with a little resistance) one of the guard recognised Lincoln and went easy on them, so long as they stopped by the guardhouse on their way out the building there'd be no issues.
Lincoln concluded the search by discovering some more details in the managers office, specifically that the Gutter Golddiggers had found Kano Jiro and also located Gloomskin in The Dark Continent, possessed by a powerful wizard.
The party reconvened with Tanki Jiro who gave them a more precise location on how to find Kano, and so the party set off... by boat. Using a rented speedboat they made it to Kano Jiro's house very quickly, however upon arriving there were three separate camps set up outside the house. One was the Gutter Golddiggers in their caravans. One was the Great Worm Tribe of Huk'yaak Barbarians, and the other the Sky Pony Tribe of Huk'yaak Barbarians led in this instance by Gao's former student, Jinsu.
After some conflict over Jinsu's choices, and some revelations on the barbarian tribes' connections to certain giant factions, the discovered that there had already been some complications in their plans. Kano Jiro had his arm stolen by either the Great Worm Tribe or the Gutter Golddiggers. Unfortunately Jiro's arm was also the key to the vault.
Lincoln and Alda went to visit Kano and investigate who might've taken the arm. Kano was in surprisingly good spirits despite losing his arm. He said he'd collected an emblem off on of his assailants, two Gs intersecting on a flaming background. He also revealed that use of his arm wasn't the only way into the vault. He'd built in a back door, but to ensure not just anyone got into his vault this way he had the architects build many deadly traps between the door and the vault.
The party decided this was the best way in and they would try and preempt the various camps getting the valuables by stealing them first from the back entrance.
