Session 3 Report

General Summary

August 20, 1896 P.M.E. – Antiera, The Nested Flats, Daetus The party did some shopping around town and then decided to find a secret pass that they could transport bodies through to bring to Skip, the barber-surgeon. They determined that the Northwest wall was scalable and poorly guarded. They headed out the northwest wall toward the graveyard. At the graveyard, they noticed an abandoned watchtower sitting atop the crest of a mountain. Saardak recalled the broken words of a drunken dwarf they had met at the tavern the night before, specifically “Und Ungor”, meaning “Cavern and Watchtower Carved into a mountain”.   The party ventured up the abandoned tower finding various remnants of a past age and being rewarded with a great view of the western hills that bisect The Shrouded Reach and The Nested Flats. Deciding that there was nothing to see atop the watchtower they headed to the basement in which there were many old barrels and crates as well as a lit torch. A dwarf climbed out from a trap door underneath the barrels. The dwarf seem startled and Saardak kicked him back down the trap door and followed him in demanding that he show them what he was up to. He leads them through the viscera covered cave system and eventually they find a child on a mound of bodies. The child transforms into a werebear and devourers the dwarf. The bear charges Saardak and leaves him with a nasty facial scar. Eventually, the party was able to dispatch the bear using their silvered weapons. The bear returns to is form as a child upon being slain. The party stashed the boy in a bush outside the city walls and informed Guy of the situation. Guy said he’ll deal with it and the party was awarded the bounty for the Antiera ripper.
