Session 4 Report

General Summary

August 21st, 1896 P.M.E – Antiera, The Nested Flats, Daetus The party awoke to the clanging of mail and the ringing of town bells. Chaos filled the streets with a mob gathering around the Keep of the Flame Order. Soldiers marched to attend the walls and the battlements were packed to their full capacity. In the chaos eventually, an Orc cleared the way being escorted to the front of the keep by knights riding hippogriffs. The Orc came to deliver the terms of surrender from King Joseph Tabius. Lord Rickon Tabius IV refused to hear them and told the messenger to begone. The party immediately sought out the advice of Guy Valdekaine, who they found incredibly intoxicated in his lounge, staring at his fire. Guy said there isn’t much they can do other than wait. He explains the laws of chivalry and how the opposing Knights of the Nest will hopefully not subject the citizens to slaughter and pillage. He further told them that Lord Rickon was offering 100 gold to anyone who wishes to join the militia guard and 400 gold each to anyone in a mercenary band willing to join the ranks. After consulting with Guy and scouting the city for possible exits the party convinces Guy Valdekaine to renew his Mercenary Charter for the Crimson Lions (His former mercenary band). Each member registers themselves under a new name to protect their identity.   Guy takes his old name “Sweet” and is the Captain Xanben takes the name “Noble” and the role of Castellian-Engineer Mork takes the name “Ratboy” and the role of Head of Espionage Saardak takes the name of “Thor” and the role of Standard Bearer
