Highly-educated dwarf wizard who has studied magical artifacts for over 120 years. Wizards Anonymous is a family affair going back several generations. Enjoys research and experimentation, Icarus is a top authority on archaeology and excavating ancient dwarven ruins. Icarus is level-headed, kind-spirited, and naturally cooperative. -
Apprentice Mantis Clubfoot
Mantis has a keen eye and a disarming smile. Her eyes sparkle like someone who has seen it all - and perhaps she has. But she wouldn't tell you! Mantis likes to speak in little codes and rhymes, though it's unclear why. Nevertheless, her skills and experience are unparalleled in the realm of languages, scripts, and ancient lore. She is an expert at understanding cryptic markings and worn-down runes. Mantis is a gnome, and at least 250 years old. She's rarely seen without her pipe. -
Captain Ronald Piccary
Ronnie's fearsome appearance belies his adventurous, fun-loving demeanor. Always trying to rabblerouse and inspire, Ronnie is as good for a laugh as he is for a tavern brawl. He is known to be a gutsy river galley captain and has done well for himself sailing the Mackinac when many more accomplished captains have been unwilling. Ronnie talks with what he refers to as a "privateer emphasis". -

The young, feisty noblewoman Siona of house Gilead has a love for music and the outdoors. Her family is on holiday in Fiddletown. Early 20s. -
Vertike
Vertike is a strong-willed merfolk leader. She wields a staff made of teak and a hovering green orb encircles her, lighting her path. She has fins along her limbs and head with multi-colored frills, giving her a distinctly regal appearance. The only material indication of her rank is the jade necklace she wears. -
Master Zentaya Iglis
Zentaya is brutally cunning and unapologetically ambitious. A sorceress endowed with devastating magical talent, Zentaya craves discovery and adventure. She is known for her fiery temper and quick decisiveness.
