Session 5: The Clues Unfold

General Summary

The party, who just entered the Raging Bull after returning to Amarley, spread out to spend their time waiting for the elven tailor to awake in their own separate ways. Frances decided to make good on her promise and help Marion brew real, authentic Zimean Ale. Dormaruk got really hyped by this and together with Nakor they managed to entice a lot of passersby to join them in the tavern to try the ale. Kazagal on the other hand remembered that he had promised to meet the smith Klara Greybelt upon his return. So he ran over to Klaras Smithy, waited for the Dragonborn customer, and then asked the dwarf out on a lunch date. Which she accepted.    When Kazagal returned to prepare for his date, the Raging Bull was busier than it had ever been. The people of Amarley fell in love with the Zimean Ale and thus stayed and ordered lunch as well. Nakor had found two men and a halfling who were gambling. When Kazagal entered and joined them, Nakor managed to switch the dice for his own charlatan's dice. He then managed to expose the halfling as a cheater. As the humans began to throw him out, Nakor used his magic to make his saliva taste like rotten meat. The magic then managed to overwhelm Nakor and made his arm yank into Kazagal, who barely noticed. Then Klara entered.    She joined Kazagal at his table and Nakor promptly left. The two shared a lovely date, where Nakor supplied assistance in the form of a magical whisper in Klaras ear, telling her to make a move, which she did. Meanwhile, Nakor, Dormaruk and Frances enjoyed their meals and drinks at another table. The date ended with a kiss and plans to meet up again later that night. Kazagal rejoined the group, who were soon interrupted by the fact that the tailor had now woken up.    Immediately the party went to Reece Seekarounds herbalism hut to see her. After thanking them and being given an orange, they finally managed to question her. She managed to tell them that she had previously made a coat for the captain known as Jarman Thorpe the Foul, who had done something strange with her door. She had not thought too much about this until she was kidnapped by the ogre. In their cave, the boss bugbear Garah Doomhorn had tortured her and done something which she did not remember. Nakor and Dormaruk managed to find the strange mark that Thorpe had but on Deorginas now broken door. It was a symbol in Deep Speech. Thorpe had apparently left for the capital afterwards, which was now where the party was headed as well. Before they left Frances warned the herbalist about keeping an extra eye on the tailor as there was no telling what the bugbear may have done to her.    Upon returning to the tavern the party, the group goes back to drinking. And as evening approached the tavern begins to fill up, even more than earlier that day. Nakor and Frances sat down and played dragonchess, which Frances lost. They then started to play a frankonian card game. Meanwhile, Kazagal managed to meet up with Klara once again and the two shared a lovely date together. Dormaruk on the other hand managed to meet up with a fellow sailor who brought some news from the capital. Apparently the Pitched Wanker, among other ships, had been involved with some strange nocturnal activities.    The party enjoyed a pleasant and calm night, except Kazagal who had a lovely night over at Klara's place.
