Long ago, before even this Age of Struggle. Before the Age of Heroes. The famed wizard Barzanes was at the peak of his power. At the time, there existed a number of powerful beings. The two most infamous were The Iron Hand and his Lady, Fire Eyes. These two waged a terrible war across much of Turalashia, devastating cities and armies with their followers and their magics. Eventually, after much negotiation between kings and cities, an alliance was formed. An epic war followed and eventually a great duel between the wizards. In the end, Barzanes proved to be more clever, if not as powerful. Separating the two, they were soon brought low and imprisoned with complex arcane rituals, sealed away for all time.   Over the last few years, a powerful organization has sprung up with a wide reach throughout Turalashia. The Iron Fist claims to be a successor to the Iron Hand and Fire Eyes, though they act more akin to bandits and other criminals. Nonetheless, they have been difficult to root out and have caused no end of trouble for the good people of Turalashia. Some nations have even begun to hire mercenaries to wage small wars on this Iron Fist.     As you can probably guess, this is an adventure focused around rooting out bad guys, destroying/imprisoning/driving them off and finding out who they really are. Expect classic 'Good Adventurers solving mysteries/intrigue and getting Macguffins to stop the Big Bad'. This campaign features island hopping.   Expect this campaign to feature player backgrounds more readily than others, these providing much of the sidequests beyond the main storyline.
