Session 26: Dinner with the God Father of Theev. Report

General Summary

The crew of the Shenanigans arrive at the Rose Pavilion at 18:00 hours as the invitation had instructed. The Rose Pavilion hotel is one of Four hotels that have 50 floors in the five boroughs of Black Sand City. The steel frames hotel with it s blue and black granite exterior marks this borough as the Admiral Darokyn's territory The two individuals who gave the invitations meets the crew and take them to the presidential suite on the fiftieth floor. The crew meets the admiral where he lays the ground work of what he hopes will be a positive relationship wit the crew. He does express his concerns with the crew considering that they arrived on the Shenaningans. The last time the Shenanigans was at port it was under the command of Captain Lunk Thunderchin. The admiral informs the crew that there is a history with Thunderchin dating back to his days with the Navy. This history is a bitter history costing the Admiral his career and family. Captain Denniston also inform the admiral of King Orym's plan and ask if he would be interested in supporting the King.  The admiral needs the crew to prove there loyalty to his gang by capturing Mira Silverhand alive and bring her back to him alive. He specifically looks Jean Paul hoping he understands this test considering the circumstances that the crew has arrived on Black Sand City. To show his loyalty to them he pays the crew a bounty for the widow maker a bounty that he did not have to pay to them. Jean Paul immediately comes up with a plan of how to get Mira Silverhand form the Scrap yard in a snatch and grab mission. This plan as well as the crew working together to help impresses the admiral. Once set the crew goes and gets the needed equipment and conducts the operation around 02:00 hours. In the process of the mission the boat ship explodes in the engine compartment causing the crew to think quick on there feet. Vlad on communications from the Shenanigans calls the Admiral and warns the mission has been compromised and ask for assistance. Chandler the Butler says he will get the approiate person involved to help as the admiral is sleeping in bed. The crew also running a scan in the area to make sure that there were no electronic devices in the area that would give them away picked up the signal and coded frequency that the Black Widows were on. Vlad tried to hack into the signal but to now avail. He was able to pinpoint the location of the signal and where its origin was located. The crew even with the ship exploding in mid air in the atmosphere pulled of a successful snatch of the target with no casualties of the crew and captured most of Mira Silverhands crew. Two crew members were missing and are believed to be on the Salvager The CSS Mercifuge. As the mission was going on Vlad pick up coded transmission on the Black Widow net work and warned the crew the Black widows are probably coming. Once captured and as the crew secures the area the noise of and engine can be heard approaching.
