Isle Breakers

A Dungeons & Dragons 5e game In the world of Egrandïr
| Looking for Players
"I have a plan." These words do not come readily to the lips of former Solar Malachar Zecharias Hexrune. His grand plan -- the orchestration of a minor rebellion near the heart of the most powerful nation on the face of Westryn -- promises rewards grand enough to outweigh the exorbitant risk to life, limb, and property involved. Probably.   Step 1 -- Locate an old friend with a very special ship. In Ordalos the Eternal, past the sentient, raging storm known to the Ordalosi as 'The Father's Veil' and to everyone else as 'Fuck That,' an aging dwarf and his motley crew may be found enjoying the fruits of their retirement. Don't worry, cap, he owes old Uncle Mal a favor. I think.   Step 2 -- Find a way to infiltrate one of the most secure facilities in Westryn without arousing suspicion and pull a reccy. Details unclear, I'm sure it'll be fine mate. Stop lookin' at me like that.   Step 3 -- ? I dunno, some shite about procuring something. And arranging something else. Pretty sure it was important. Don't worry, it'll come to me eventually.   Step 4 -- Re-trace a complex escape route through undersea caverns, daemon-infested underground ruins, and a semi-active volcano from memory. Oh, and part of the original journey was spent in the belly of a fish. Seriously, stop lookin' at me like that. It's too late to back out now, init?   Step 5 -- Convince the isle's current population of starving, broken, and terrified prisoners to take up arms against their captors. Hopefully we'll arrive with weapons for them as well. Somehow. I'm working on it. Again with the look, cap. It's probably fine.   Step 6 -- Sail a flotilla of probably sea-worthy decommissioned warships crewed by half-mad and definitely half-dead fugitives through the most heavily fortified port on the face of Westryn. Come to think of it, we could probably use a distraction of some kind here. Too late to note it earlier, just definitely don't forget about it.   Step 7 -- Pure profit! Easy as that, I promise we'll be the proud new owners of at least one new ship -- probably -- and with a load of new friends who will owe us one hell of a favor -- maybe.
