Session 17: Finally free! Horaah! Report

General Summary

Zumwarin and Hallie take a long rest away from the encampment, planning to clear out the remainder in the morning.

- Garm once again uses a thunderwave to knock off the trapdoor above his cell and proceeds to levitate out, though he finds the encampment to be empty.

He proceeds to search for his and the rest of the group's belongings and is able to salvage the majority, though a considerable amount of gold is lost. He also pulls a lever and get some poisoned pins shot into his hand, not very cool.

The group reunite and head back to the encampment they arrived at first, getting attacked by some Sokton Elves riding rams on the way while Garm is recovering from his paralysis caused by the poison.

Back at the old encampment, they find the palisade has entirely been knocked down and most of the houses have been flattened with no survivors in sight. Garm, with some help, finds a replacement longbow for Joette and discovers two big ol' talon imprints in the ground.

Zumwarin is able to identify the tracks of the dodgy elf who had the clicky set of drawers and the group is about to follow them when they hear a menacing squawk from the same direction and see the great vulture heading straight towards them.
