Session 13: Escorted to the North Report

General Summary

Joette, Max and Garm are escorted north after the tribe decides they were responsible for the fire, though Hallie and Zumwarin are lucky enough to be sent to the west for half a day instead, to make sure they don't attempt to rescue their friends (this is during the morning).

After half a day of travel, Zumwarin and Hallie are left to their own devices by the tribe but manage to trace their way back to the encampment fairly easily with a small portion of the day left. Elves should've expected that really. Idiots.

By the end of the day, Zumwarin and Hallie have begun tracking the rather large footprints of Garm. In the meantime, Joette just about manages to cast jump on herself and manages to get 20ft up in a tree. She then goes slightly higher before attempting to jump to another tree to reduce the number of crossbow bolts being shot into her. That fails pretty badly and she ends up captured once again.

Garm and Max make the most of this distraction as Garm stuffs Max into the bag of holding and they run off together into the sunset with the help of a syringe of drugs.

Joette's equipment is confiscated while Garm and Max have to fend off two Owlbears, with Max having a very close encounter with death.
