Session 11: Machine among the Moss 2 Report

General Summary

After a peaceful night, the group wake to the sight of a Miratail curled up against the wall of their small shelter. It makes short work of the food given by Joette before wrapping its slender body around her arm. They soon encounter a group of three sleeping owlbears, but the owlbears quicky wake up after noticing their presence and are disposed of with relative ease. The group then climb up a pretty chunky rock that protrudes above the trees and notice smoke rising in the distance, which they investigate and discover a small group of four Grung gathered on logs around a fire pit, with a squirming sack hanging from a tree beside them.   The group brutally murders the Grung with ease and proceed to cut open the sack, discovering a wood elf inside. He thanks them for saving him from becoming a slave to the Grung and begins to lead them back to his encampment. During the night, an enormous metallic vulture passes overhead, almost knocking members of the party off their feet despite it being approximately 200ft away from the ground at least.
