Session 2: The Aftermath of Sildurslate Report
General Summary
The group dispatched of the remainder of the Ankhegs, though not before a decent portion of Sildurslate's population could be found scattered across the village. Afterwards, they were lucky enough to receive a full nights rest at 100% off due to the absence of the innkeeper, though he wasn't back by the morning so the group had to resort to some desperate measures. This involved getting Max to cook up a decent stew for... breakfast, though it had to be spread very thinly as both Joette and a rather unimpressive local named Banda requested a portion somewhat last minute. Feeling bad after using the chefs stock, Halie left a single gold piece on the counter as thanks. It wasn't there anymore when they returned. After breakfast, the group met up with the female aasimar they saved earlier and headed down to the nearby cave entrance along with a small group of locals, including Banda and the drunk man who helped earlier. Joette proposed to the group that it would be best if she scouted ahead before they went down, to which most seemed indifferent. Apart from Drasimir, who was more than happy to see her killed. She headed down and managed to evade a light brown, spiny and hairy stick pointing out of the ground, which was probably a good idea as she would discover later. At around 100ft from the entrance, the cave split into two and she decided to go the right route, but unfortunately, that didn't work out too well. Her leg got caught on another stick-like object and Ankheg lept out of the ground and started dishing some damage. Hearing the yelling from within, the group hurriedly sprinted down, which unfortunately resulted in them getting caught by the same spine seen earlier by Joette. It seemed that the group had found themselves in quite the spiny situation.
