The Vemoraxx Fort Report

General Summary

The plan to rescue the prisoners and confront the Dragon Priest went off without an issue.  Ivy and Thorn were able to create a distraction, while David, Feebo, and Finn snuck into the fort to free the prisoners.  They brought them all out safely even though one was ill.  Meanwhile Cantatus, Carados and Willie confronted the dragon priest and the Fort Captain.  They slew the dragon priest and captured the captain.  After a chat they discovered where Vuzul's Lair was.   They also found out there was a refugee camp run by an elven Druid nearby not far from the lair.  They headed there looking for a place to rest, and someplace safe for Ivy and Thorn, while they dealt with the Dragon.   The Druid, an Elven woman named Shandalar turned out to be Finn's Aunt.  She was surprised to see Finn alive, thinking he had died when Horford was burned.  She explained to Finn it was the Vemoraxx who attacked the village, because Finn's father had been helping refugees escape into the forest.  They took his father to Halas, where he is believed to be dead.   She explained to Finn his mother was a tree singer in Elvenhome, tending to the ancient trees there, and was not able to stay with his father.   She also helped the party by giving them a few scrolls to help them with the Dragon.   They headed to the dragon lair, and confronted Vuzul taking him by surprise, but he was not as young as the last dragon they faced, and was more prepared for the unexpected.  He dove into a pond, escaping through an underground tunnel, leaving his Giant Dragonfly guards to stop the party.  He also had with him a strange Kobold that flew on Dragon wings.   They tried to get b the dragonflies, but the insects were more formidable than they though. and one almost killed David picking him up and bringing him back to its nest.   They were able to kill them off, but now need to find a way into the lair where Vuzul escaped to.

Rewards Granted

Warhammer +1 off of the Fort Captain. This warhammer's hear is shaped like a dragon head with a hammer head emerging from the mouth. When infused with a spell, the dragon's eyes glow a bright red.  MW Chainshirt  Their Lives.

Missions/Quests Completed

The parties has decided it is time to let the Vemoraxx know the Order of the Platinum Dragon is not gone, and has resurfaced.  They word will spread if they manage to Kill Vuzul.

Finn met his Aunt Shandala and learned what happened to his mother and father.  Feebo learned about the scroll and the story behind the Order of the PLatinum Dragon.  He also became an official member.
