Session 1: The Before Times Report

General Summary

At the start of the session, we flew over Tampath to land in Anlaur to find Peren Siannodel just waking for the morning. Peren then continued on to the grove that he is so familiar with, only to find the rift attempting to break through surrounded by green energy holding it back. Peren heard in his head a familiar voice pleading for assistance. He reached out through nature and channeled his magic into the barrier that then pushed back the rip in reality. Amastacia, tired by the effort, asked Peren to travel to Tivr to find the source of these entities as she is not sure how long she will be able to hold off this tear. Sending message to his parents, Peren immidiately walked into the woods toward Tivr trusting in the forest to get him there.   Next we flow over to Forcoa to find 2 brothers, Svaeris and Genris Moonriver just waking and sitting down to a family breakfast. Tanrinil (father) and Faenala (mother) both joined them as their father started speaking of strange reports of shadow creatures, passing it off as dilusions of pipe weed smokers. After some discussion, Genris left for the woods area. He met his sister (Volvaeris) along the way, but as she retrieved her things, a strange rift in the world opened pulling her in. Genris tried with all his might to pull her back but the entity and the pull was too strong as his sister dissapeared into the rift, it closed. Genris ran back to grab Savaeris and to frantically report what happend. They both attempted to find out what had happened but to no avail besides linking it to the shadow creatures. Tanrinil followed them to the spot and in a fit of rage and loss, demanded them both to find their sister and tasked them with a quest to Tivr. All looking into their feelings, the 2 brothers set off for Tivr.   We then found ourselves in Shyrtaesi, a religious mecca of the north. Finding partners Rue and Sterling Phylia attempting to sell....questionable wares, to the locals before their departure to Tivr for seeking adventure and stories. Rue managed to sell some storied lip balm to a young elf with stories of an ancient woman, recieving a peice of bark from the sacred forest. While packing up, they were stopped by Tanye Kithollal, a council member and the elf that was helped by their anti-poison they gave to the council. With some banter, they were welcomed back anytime to this city. They both packed up (Sterling being shirtless) and used their mules Hitchcock & Barnebey to start traveling south. Along the way, they saw a strange dead goat on the side of the road. As they explored the area, they found a strange lankey shadow creature holding the head of the goat dissapear as they looked at it. The goat was mysteriously burned cleanly in half. Unphased by this, sterling took the back half of the goat for food on the trip to Tivr.   All end up in

around the same time, noticing that the times you had visited Tivr there were no walls and gates, but now there seems to be some and building more for protection. Rarely any of you have seen walls to protect towns in such a way.   Peren emerged from the forest to southern Tivr and immediately heads to the Temple of Igdite to speak with the high preist. Greeted by Preist Hilore Runelenrin, he was told to wait.   Entering Tivr from the eastern road, the brothers Savaeris and Genris find their way to the local inn Hard Working Disciple meeting the caretaker Läruin Tural that offers them a double room if they help with the garden in the morning. They then offload their armor and items and continue to the Temple of Igdite where they meet Hilore.   From the north road, the partners Rue and Genris also end up at The Hardworking Disciple and meet Hilore in the Temple.   Introductions were given between all of you and Genris finds connection with Peren as he seems to be drawing a scene recent in his memory without knowledge of it.   As all of you ask about the shadow creatures, Hilore ushers you into the top of the tower. Mysteriously larger than it looks from outside, this round room is filled with plants and sunlight. Also in the interior is a round table full of elder elves.   A single elf woman stands to address you, Anelyen Talraidal asks you to recount your experiences and will give information if you promise to head to Wair Tower on the edge of the Chonta. All parties agreed.   She gave information that these creatures are not from here on Tampath but somewhere else maybe beyond or beneath. She assures all of you that Igdite sent you in their time of need and they your party are meant to be here for this.   After the meeting, Rue and Sterling headed to Archanon's a local watering hole. While Savaeris, Genris, and Peren headed into the forest to find the Magister. A few moments into the forest path they hear a frightening but recognizable sound of a shadow creature.   End of Session.

Rewards Granted

Genris took the blanked bought by his sister. A mysterious benefit unknown to the players happened during the council prayer. 4000 xp each.
