Now what's the plan?

General Summary

Yola gave the crew more details on how they could use their acquired items. The crew was excited, thanked Yola again, paid her, and Yola left to go to dinner with Salvage.   They returned back to the Unknown Stone Inn to figure out what their next steps would be, settling on trying to make money while waiting for wood from Vanir- they'd at least need money for passage out of the Gnomish Freestate.  

Lyra: Are we not sneaking onto a boat?   Murtagh: We are not going to be stowaways! I will not allow it.   Lyra: Ok.

Their rough plan, laid out by Guy, is to get out of the Freestates, on their way earn money to get out and to have some on the other end, and check in with Vanir to see if there are any leads.   They opt to do some odd jobs in Rivvenastorp. The bartender, Sinbis, told them to look for a gnome named Max. Max handles the non Mage Guild jobs, that have a tendency to run a more dangerous and "stabby stabby", since they're jobs the Mages Guild are less interested in taking. With that, they retired for the evening to fill Bayleaf in with more details about Yola's findings, and Lyra checked in with Wave Watcher in the evening, in case she needs spells tomorrow.   Murtagh and Lyra got dreams that night, both sinking into the ocean depths. Murtagh saw herds of horseshoe crabs, Lyra saw pods of whales, both leading them towards a castle, glittering lightly in the distance. Murtagh heard Brine say "I'll try to find you, but you have to get on the oc-", and Lyra heard "Vanir didn't tell me there was a new one."  

Murtagh: Did we tell you about Brine?   Lyra: I know they're good for cucumbers.

  In the morning, they shared the dreams with the rest of the crew, deciding to try to get on the ocean.   In the morning, they visited Max for Odd Jobs, and selected a job to protect a turtle population's breeding grounds.
