General Summary

The dark night rolls in. Deciding to continue on instead of resting, the crew pushed further into the city in hopes of bolstering their supplies. Still unsure as to what to do with the cursed child in their arms.   The found their way into a small shopping strip just passed the main square, where they found numerous ransacked shops and one gunshop. Collecting a few unclaimed scraps of ammunition.   Deciding that the only secure building they had passed so far was the Bank, they headed back to big square fortress building.   Inside they found a small group of people hiding in the vault. One of them a young ashen woman, she explained that the affliction that affected the boy was part physical, part a powerful curse. The curse corrupted and twisted the body. But without it the now deformed child wouldn't survive. Conversely, the healing of the body would be temporary at best, and he would soon succumb to the lingering curse, which would distort his body once more.   Fortunately, the crew had in their possession a most unique panacea. Applying this powerful artifact to the boy, his body was shortly and painfully reborn anew. Shedding the leathery hide like a second skin to reveal the soft pink flesh of a normal boy.   Gillie took her cue and with haunting melody, invoked a powerful spell to remove the curse. A noisy spell. A thunderous spell.   The boy collapsed back onto the table in a sheen of sweat, but his breathing steadied. Outside a chorus of aggravated cries howled into the night.

Spells: Blind(sand whirlwind),   Armour(ceramic Plates): Armor creates a field of magical protection around a character, or an actual shell of some sort, effectively giving the target Armor. Success grants the recipient 2 points of Armor. A raise grants 4 points of Armor.   Endure Elements(dust body suit/mask) 2pp per hour on raise 1pp per hour,   Bolt(rock/ceramic shard): Bolt is a standard attack power of wizards, and can also be used for ray guns, bursts of energy, streaks of holy light, and other ranged attacks. The damage of the bolt is 2d6. Additional Bolts: The character may cast up to 3 bolts by spending a like amount of Power Points. This must be decided before the power is cast. The bolts may be spread among targets as the character chooses.   Blast(shredding grit): The area of effect is a Medium Burst Template (found at our website). If the roll is failed, the blast deviates as a launched projectile. Targets within the blast suffer 2d6 damage. Unlike other attacks, raises on the attack roll do not add to damage to area effect attacks. Additional Effects: For double the Power Points, the blast does 3d6 damage or is the size is increased to a Large Burst Template.
