This campaign takes place in the village of Steppehaven, a sleepy village in the Duchy of Whiteport. When local bandits calling themselves "the Crimsons" moved into town and began harassing the townsfolk. Meanwhile, a traveling band of hired security from Whiteport, escorting a shipment of goods to town, stumbles into a goblin ambush on the road, after a short delay clear the goblin hideout, discovering a Knight kidnapped by the Goblins, apparently contracted by the Crimsons. After clearing the Crimsons and their treasonous wizard from their hideout in town, but not the surrounding countryside, and with questions only building, the adventurers set out to find answers on behalf of the waylaid Knight and his order.
