This campaign takes place in the village of Steppehaven, a sleepy village in the Duchy of Whiteport. When local bandits calling themselves "the Crimsons" moved into town and began harassing the townsfolk. Meanwhile, a traveling band of hired security from Whiteport, escorting a shipment of goods to town, stumbles into a goblin ambush on the road, after a short delay clear the goblin hideout, discovering a Knight kidnapped by the Goblins, apparently contracted by the Crimsons. After clearing the Crimsons and their treasonous wizard from their hideout in town, but not the surrounding countryside, and with questions only building, the adventurers set out to find answers on behalf of the waylaid Knight and his order.

Adrik is a Hill Dwarf Cleric who serves alongside the Dangers. He dresses in heavy dwarven mail armor and wields a silvered battleaxe named Guardian. -
Annalise Orenblood
An aasimar sorcerer with the blessed by Prisaïs, Annalise has spent her life hiding her heritage and on the run from those evil agents who would hunt her if they knew her true identity. -
David Anger
The dashing captain of the Dangers, David Anger sits astride his white warehorse victory in full plate armor, carrying his lance, longsword, and shield. David is a man who firmly believes in the feudal order and will follow the law. -
Joe the Exotic
Joe is an eccentric, slightly paranoid man with a serious drug addiction, which he finances by breeding, importing, and selling exotic animals. He's not really sure quite where he comes from anymore, and has an assortment of odd hangers-on at all times, but does have a genuine affection for his animals. He attributes every possible misfortune to his lifelong enemy, and even invents convoluted conspiracies about them, plotting and railing against them constantly. -

Roscoe
An arcane trickster, Roscoe is a lightfoot halfling and a member of the Dangers. He has messy black hair, green eyes, typically dresses in deep purples and blues, and it usually accompanied by his Sparrow familiar.
