The party made a deal with Chel, an aspiring priestess, to have her "capture" the party and sneak them into the drow city, where she would link them up with the humans who had already been captured, then release them so that they could go and look around the Goddess' room for the core as well as kill the first-consort who she has a bone to pick with.
The party met with Evander, a fey whom Chel promised to give the shard of Tsara'Noga traveling with the party to. Evander was very friendly and even when he tried to take and kill the shard he instead talked things out, explaining that Tsara'Noga caused some great wound to the Fey and Shadowfell during the Outsider wars. That the Fey and Shadowfell were given the honor of hunting her endlessly across their twin planets, harrying her, hunting her, tormenting her for all eternity each and every second of each and every day, its the one thing that binds these two factions whose hatred for each other is only exceeded by their hatred for Tsara'Noga.
The party realized that Zhaulash was still inside the humans, biding his time, he attempted to break out of the prison and infect the human slaves but because they had been "fixed", had their sparks of Martius removed, they were unable to be touched by the madness. It seems that fighting outsiders leads to being infected by them, and Zhaulash can use his infection within Martius to infect his children, the humans.
The party then snuck into the private room of the Goddess Elyxtraza, where they found out that they had been found out, Chel had been caught and broken by Elyxtraza who was now watching them through twin statues in her room. Squire found a book about dwarves written in infernal, Adamah took some fine jewelery, Raime discovered a teleportation circle leading to the city of Sheol, and was contacted by Elyxtraza that the core they were looking for was in the mirror above her bed, a mirror of life stealing.
Elias, the first consort of the goddess soon arrived, they jumped him and through the use of hold person and fog cloud were able to take him out with relative ease, Squire chose not to kill him and instead knocked him out, Elyxtraza then appeared, hoping to make a deal with the party. The nice shard of Tsara commented that Elyxtraza didnt... feel... like she was from here, but couldnt elaborate.
She would:
Return the core needed to reactivate Ecumenopolis
Also give the party a chip that would wipe clean the genocidal commands and give her control of Ecumenopolis
Would "fix" all their humans, removing the taint of Zhaulash from them at the cost of their connection to their creator god and most of their emotions.
Allow Ecumenopolis to aid them in destroying the Dread Harbor, give Adamah 3,000 gp, help to arrange a meeting with Azazel, lord of the arch devils, and the party to discuss the matter of Belial. And finally she would aid in the hunt of the shard of Tsara'Noga in the nearby jungle.
In exchange the party would:
Install the chip that gives her command into Ecumenopolis
The party very reluctantly agreed, Raime, Peter, and Adamah all signed the deal while Ariange, Squire and Fafnir declined, much to her annoyance, even more to her annoyance however was when Peter mentioned "E=O" to which she flew into a rage and dismissed them from her presence, furious at the dead tiefling who carved it, apparently she was the one who killed him.
Next session will begin with the ritual to cleanse their humans, then the hunt to consume the evil shard on this continent, then they will return to Ecumenopolis to carry out their end of the bargain and bring Ecumenopolis back online, hopefully those they left behind can hold out and hopefully Zyraxus will arrive soon.
