American Courage: Session Two - Navigating the Underground Base Report

General Summary

Members of the New Champions were accompanied by Windwalker, the pink mind-sword wielding teen superhero. The team burst into the underground base and made their way through the layers of defenses — dealing with hardened "Super Agents" and intense computer security. At one point, Cypher found himself swimming in a vast data-lake...   From the very start, in the reception area, the agents were outfitted with force-flex technology, absorbing even the toughest blows from the heroes. But ultimately, the coordinated effort of the heroes, capped-off with Sandcrab's devastating swing of a large-wooden table, pushed them back into wall.   The team then ventured into the hallway and toward the bunks where more agents were located -- bringing the fight to them. But acid-smoke filled the halls and pushed them back, Windwalker was affected by it terribly. Led by Sandcrab, the team tunneled further around the hallways and into a main area.   In the main area, the team found humans lying on medical tables, with molten-metal flesh on their bodies. It wasn't clear if the doctor at the terminal was causing the metal flesh transformation or simply observing it. Either way, he was very excited about the mysterious discoveries being made.   By the end of the session, the team made their way up to the leader’s office where he smugly said to them, “Well…it took you long enough to get here.”   A video of the session is available here:
