Session 2: A Midsummer's Night Dream

General Summary

The group received letters each of them was an invitation to see the production of two plays. The first being a Midsummer Nights Dream and the second being Promethus Bound which was shocking because theater productions were outlawed in the city. The letters also threatened potentially outing the family and that they knew they were all Vampires, To prove the point further each letter came with a personalized Tarot card that had personalized paintings of each person, (Victoria/Empress, Gideon/Emperor, Richard/Fool, Claudia/Magician, Charlotte/wheel of fortune, Kurt/Strength, Lenora/The Hanged Man). Claudia destroyed hers. Seth was sent on a mission as well to investigate another rumor around town.   The group first headed to the tavern to see who else may have received a letter and they found two people at the tavern in the form of Mr. Ward who received the card of Judgement and Samuel who received the card of Justice. The group tried to sweet talk him but, he kicked Lenora out as he didn't need a woman without an escort tarnishing his tavern. Gideon stepped his game up and used his vampire gift to charm the barkeep. He made him hand over his letter and card. Reading it over they discovered that he had actually had his wife hanged as a witch because he wanted a divorce and couldn't see another way out.   The group then decided to hit up the mail boy who delivered the post that day. His name was Gad Malcome. Gad easily gave his information to Charlotte and mentioned that he got the letters from a man named Dr. Charles Jarvis the town physician. They immediately tracked him down and asked him how he got the information and he said that he only wrote the letters and that he had no idea who they were. They asked him who gave him the names and information and he sited his friend Joseph Barrell.   The group went off to Barrell's house where they discovered his house was a giant mess with everything in shambles minus a circle In the center surrounded by stones with writing all over the wall. Claudia noticed with her edactic memory that it was the script of a midsummer nights dream. As they were leaving they head music coming from the forest. They entered and found Clymenthia a fey who had been summoned in their world and had awakened an individual. Charlotte, who at this point was the only stable person and unaffected by the spell of the fey which caused her companions to act like children, asked who the Clymenthia had awakened and she mentioned that it was Joseph Russel and he had then caused Jarvis and Barrell to also awaken.   The group then went to Russel's home where they found out that Russel's wife died that previous night and that her husband hadn't been home the past week (due to working on the theater project) the group now had a bone to pick with Russel and headed to the bank where Russel worked and they knew he would be holding the show.   Victoria and crew was already waiting there with Leo having brought a carriage. Charlotte at first refused to go in and then eventually with enough nagging went in. On the inside they met up with their friends who also had cards and then went back stage to see what was up. They discovered more fairy circles acting as a gateway between worlds.   they entered and could see that the stage was actually a lush forest and the actors were fey folk minus the three men. They went along with the production and then cornered the three men where they said they were tired with Boston being the way it was and they wanted Lou to take all of Boston for the Fey folk. The group decidedly having enough of this shit took action with Claudia murdering one of the men and the rest getting taken by lou due to some fast talking. The group then left the theater and headed home   on their way home they discovered the corpse of Arthur having fallen victim to the Butcher
