session 10: the beginning of the end Report

General Summary

The group hasn't heard back anything from the other vampires and tomorrow marks the end of days. the group is keeping themselves occupied around the house doing some cleaning and upkeep. In the library fen accidentally bumps into a bookcase knocking a book to the floor. The book opened it's self and spoke to Fen in a British accent. Fen didn't recognize it but, the book asked to see Lenora and Victoria. Fen asked what was in it for him and the book promised fen his hearts desire (Morgan covered in deviled eggs), so fen went and collected the others and brought them to the study. Once gathered the group was able to recognize that the book belonged to Arthur and that it was his voice. He said that he was still alive and that he fooled fate using a doppelganger he tasked the group with finding the six other books that contained his soul.   The group started with the first book located at the Church. There they went poking around until they found the first book. Here they also met the angels who were deliberating on what to do. Orusala managed to get the support on their side and moved on to look for the next book.   The next book was a book located at Arthur's cabin. They went there where they discover some guardians of the veil snooping around as well as the ghosts of the Boston guardian whom they had killed in session 1. the ghosts tried to keep them away but, to no avail. Kurt crushed the guardians to death as a walrus   the third book was located at the shrew. There they found more goons but, fen went to town and destroyed them with an invisible Orusala's help.   The next book was located at the police station. There they found the book and what was beginning to form of Selene's sanctum. The group took note and moved on.   The next book was located in Sophia's room. There Lenora begged Sophia for the book and Sophia in a moment of weakness confided that she missed Arthur and wanted nothing more to hear from him. This caused the book to speak and Sophia gave up the book.   The final book was buried in the prison cemetery. The group went to the island out in the bay where they were being held. They were able to sneak in and find the book by Fen and Lenora pulling a fast one on said ghosts.   The group with the last book headed back to the mansion. On the way they were attacked by another boat and some promethians from the nearby leper island. The group fought them off and were soon face to face with Damian Masters the head of the adamantine arrow. He fought them but, lost after being bound in Iron. They asked him why he was there and he mentioned that he had been commissioned to kill them by William. They however won him over to their side.   when they arrived at the mansion they discovered the whole thing on fire. Kurt was able to find Blaind Kelly nearby who was discovered as the one who started the fire. She was questioned and also took the side of the group.   The ritual was preformed which brought back Arthur. He was slapped by both Lenora, and Sophia. Arthur informed them all that he had a plan and cast a spell. This spell unbound Boston to the rules of fate for the night. The group had 24 hours to put a stop to William's plan.
