session 11: Independence day Report

General Summary

A barrier was put around the town preventing any supernaturals to escape but, the group was gathered with everyone in attendance (Minus Abigale Williams). Sophie used her magic to create a castle so that the group could plan. They realized that there had to be some powerful magic creating the berrior. Morgan used her powers to discover that indeed the vampire lords were the idols this time around and figured out their locations. The groups were then formed with missions.   Victoria, Carmila, Samson, Alistor, and Mathias would hunt down the posesed Ciel and deal with him. They would need the powers of a night lord (either Chione, or Barnabus) to remove the ring.   Arthur, Morgan, Sophia, and Damian would hunt down the witch finder in town and eliminate him.   Ava and Samuel would fight Issac and give him one last chance to change his position otherwise they would be forced to kill him.    Angelica, Jericho, Richard, and Leo were tasked with staying put at the castle to guard the place and make sure no one got in as well as coordinate efforts. Leo and Selene would be acting as medics.   This left the group to hunt down the idols and remove the barrier. The group then set off. their first idol was the idol of Fire which was Barnabus, trapped in a burning bakery. They traveled with Victoria's team. Alister tried to have a conversation about his and Victoria's future with one another but, Victoria reminded him to stay focused on the task at hand. Alister then slipped a note to Orusala. The group encounted Ivan in ciel's body. Mathias made a fated circle a forbidden blood art that trapped a certain number of people within a circle and could only be entered and exited if the "fated targets" (I.E. himself and Ivan) were defeated. the group wished them luck and went to the bakery.   the bakery was on fire and the group debated on what to do. Lenora sent in her familiar to discover there was a basement. The decision was made and Charlottte asked for a knife from Orusala. She complied and Charlotte stabbed herself in the eye transporting her to a place outside of the realms of reality. While this happened the group sent fenrichard into the building where he was immediately hit with a back draft from the fire.   Inside the strange space Charolette met a strange figure. She did not talk nor speak, instead she just held out charlotte's eye in her hands where it turned into a key. Charlotte took it and opened the door appearing outside the house where she met Clymenthia. She ran into the Forrest to see the place on fire and the fairy circle smashed. She had no choice to return.   Meanwhile fen reached the basement. Here in the basement he saw Barnabus inside the fleshy cocoon. Fen tried to free the cocoon but, could not get it to budge. Barnabus asked to be killed and fen obliged. When Barnabus died The cocoon exploded, Fen escaped the place but, was hurt pretty badly. Charlotte arrived to see what happened and screamed. their next target was Chione who was trapped in a crypt with the earth totem. Charolette transported them over there since she now could.   When the group arrived they, decided to intervene. They went into the church were Kurt, Fen, and Giddion, fought Issac but, Lenora approached him and got him to settle down. She used her power to turn him back to normal. The group collected themselves and moved on to the crypt.   The crypt was an old croswell family crypt and it extended far into the earth. The group sent Kurt down to go and get the totem. At the bottom of the crypt kurt grabbed the idol and went on up. As he came up Kurt noticed the idol got heavier and heavier. fen met him halfway with Lenora and they dispelled the idol. chione was free and the floor was crumbling. fen tossed lenora and chione and the floor gave in. Kurt was fine but, Fen was once again injured. They quickly regrouped and met up with Victoria's group. Alistor had been killed in the struggle. the medical group had arrived and the moment the fated circle was dropped Ivan attacked Selene. Chione took the ring ans shattered it. Leo was unable to help Alistor but, Victoria asked Richard if he wanted her to save Selene. He said yes and Victoria turned selene, telling the two to run and get out of the city when they could.   The group then went to the light house where they saw it was falling a part. The group went in and made their way to the top where Lorenzo was being held in a rusty cage. They made a collective choice and cut the cage down causing Lorenzo to fall to his death. the explosion caused the light house to fall. They Fen tossed Lenora out of the lighthouse and everyone jumped out. Everyone aside from fen landed in the water.    Kurt went to work getting to the sinking ship where Lawrence was. Kurt was able to call forth birds and free him from the hull. Lenora cast off the idol and the barrier fell.  the group regrouped and they headed on in to fight William. They found him at his mansion where Tammy had already infiltrated and she ate him. The rain put out the fire.   see individual pages for epilogues.
