Session 9.5: A Surprising Recovery Report

General Summary

WOOD ELF SETTLEMENT, NEVERWINTER WOOD

  • Surprisingly, Dakari awakes in an odd room in the treetops. An old druid and a female wood elf cleric stand nearby
  • The druid Reidoth explains that his friend Siofra used her Raise Dead spell abilities to help restore Dakari. The spell took around an hour and was quite expensive.
  • As Reidoth and Dakari chat, Siofra takes her leave. On her way out, she reminds Reidoth that the Emerald Enclave is always welcome in their treetop settlement. However, she also jokingly comments that she is also always available to take some more coin if there is need.
  • Reidoth is incredibly thankful for the party's running Venomfang out of the ruins. He notes that he has also seem some odd figures in black robes and masks in the area as well.
  • Reidoth explains to Dakari that he needed to get help here as he didn't have the resources available to restore him. He explains that they are around six hours from Thundertree in the Neverwinter Wood.
  • At this hour and in Dakari's condition, walking back to Reidoth's home in Thundertree would not be good so he commits to getting some transport.
  • Upon return, Reidoth secured a wagon from Falcon the Hunter who was bringing some supplies to the settlement. Falcon had mentioned needing some help at the nearby logger's camp. Reidoth explains that Falcon's lodge is one of the safest places to stay in the forest but joked that bringing some good wine would likely yield a free stay.

  •   REIDOTH'S HOUSE, THUNDERTREE
  • After a few hour wagon ride in early morning, the two make it to Reidoth's small home.
  • While they rode, Reidoth told that Falcon had mentioned about some unknown leader who was working with orcs who didn't want "the spider" to find what he was looking for. He didn't understand what was meant but this.
