Session 03: From the River to the Deeper Forest Report

General Summary

RIVER NORTH OF THE WOOD ELF SETTLEMENT

The party continues their search of the bandit camp near the river by finishing off the first small group of bandits they encountered.

Then they see three more bandits near the river's edge to the west. A fire glows near their tent and a small rowboat sits at the water's edge.

While two of the bandits are swiftly taken down, the third escapes on the boat and heads across the river. Interestingly, however, one of the bandits makes mention of seeing "her" who appears to be some beautiful, blonde woman who some have fallen in love with.

Doric continues to encourage Miramenor Starsinger to lean into the voice of the forest and listen to what it wants him to do

At Doric's lead, the party moves westward down the river's edge to where they typically cross using a simple rope ferry. The ferry is still on the south side of the river showing that the friends appear to have not used it to get across when they went hunting.

The group pulls their way across the river with the rope ferry and heads deeper into the forest.
