Session 22: A Lost Empire - Angel's Civil War Report

General Summary

The party meets Angel, their Captain for the mission.   Angel gives the party options to approach their mission of extracting Agosto.   The party arrives with one squad. They surveil and decide a divebomb approach. They fly up above the clouds and then skydive in. Korac'h takes some arrows, but the party with Angel's help are able to land fucking awesomely on the roof of the outpost after minimal damage.   Once inside, they meet with Agosto. There are many injured. The outpost's usual 200 is down to 20. Angel insists on getting Agosto out. Agosto disagrees.   Kenrith wants to save all of the people in the outpost. Nolfravell, indifferent but loyal to Agosto sides with him. Korac'h sides with the Angel and a battle ensues.   The fight goes back and forth. Commands fail. Damage is counterspelled. Its back and forth, but Korac'h and the Angel are slowly losing. Agosto casts Beacon of Hope, maximizing healing spells even after the encounter ends.   Korac'h shapeshift into the woman Nolfravell befriended and watched die at the Monolith and Nolfravell takes psychic damage. Kenrith casts lesser restoration to get Nolfravell out of his stun and Nolfravell's anger takes over.   Korac'h is knocked unconscious and then brought back by his party.   The Angel is escaping with Agosto when Agosto breaks free of their grasp and knocks them down. Kenrith bitch slaps Korac'h for going against the others.   Korac'h lowers his head in shame as Agosto now free walks over to him.   Does the party feel a shift in their alignments.
