Session 15: A Lost Empire - Questions at the Oaken College Report

General Summary

The party set out from the Monolith and interacted with Ferdinand the gorgon. The party defeated him and found an oak engraved into the hoof. Kenrith chopped it off with his lightsaber and took it with him.   The party arrived at Oaken College and were immediately swarmed by researchers interested in the Jurassian.   The party then ran into Meriweather Price who told them he was a creator of automata and that if they went back through the forest they might run into Ferdinand.   He took Korac'h to the Lab of Metallurgy and told Korac'h about the automata including his newest creation: a construct thrull named Archemicarus.   Meanwhile, Kenrith and Nolfravell walked through some shops. They looked at some elemental summoning magic devices.   They also found some Mizzium armor and were told that Mizzium is a metal ore found in the roots of the great oak tree. The armor was out of their price range.   The party met back up and talked to Nat Porter a weaponsmith. He looked at the lightsaber. Told the party about some lore things. He promised to possibly study the lightsaber further and maybe mod it as well as creating some Jurassian power armor. He'll mod the saber so that it can turn into a great sword, dealing more damage with more to hit, but a much higher likelihood of losing control.   He then suggested filing a freedom of information request with the Izmundi (board of directors).   After that they just popped around and kept exploring.
