Session 19: Sewage Fight Report

General Summary

The party eats at the mess and is assigned sewage duty as the first mission of the Port Protectors.   They head down to the sewage and its a gross mess. They try with shovel's and Nolfravell's astral arm force push to clean it to little progress. Partially because Korac'h and Kenrith aren't really helping as Kenrith near the edge of the city is trying to call Rex and Korac'h is lazily using his mage hand to scoop a very small bit of sludge.   Eventually one of the other two squad members, the elder veteran, hits into the black pudding with her shovel and the party briefly begins that fight. Only a round in, however, a group of 6 black-clothed assailants enters and begin to fire on the party and the sludge.   The party slowly dispatches the black-cloaks identifying them as Cerasium spies. But to conceal their identities in death, the spies pour acid on their compatriates' dead bodies.   The leader of the black cloaks casts Blur on herself, seeming imposing, and dodging any future blows.   The group's 17-year-old field medic gets an arrow to the eye and then is brought back only to get stabbed in the shoulder. The poison takes him and he is full dead.   The party then rages out and takes most of the black cloaks down. They flee, but not before Lady Rilen reveals herself as the leader. She casts gaseous form on herself as she and the remaining spy escape.   The party then dispatches the black pudding.   They make zombies out of the dead spies to clean the remaining sewage and then log the mission report back at the outpost.
