Session 1: A New Land

After the shipwreck, the explores find themselves washed up on the shore. Greeted by a friendly dockworker, they find themselves on the island of Iedar Tegon. A place with a rich history full of magical wars and religions, the presiding Lord Somerston takes care of the people very well. The island used to worship the Order of the Martyr, but after the corruption started, the island blamed the Order and started to desecrate the statues.

After getting some dry clothes and some food, the party heads into the merchant quarter where the town shops and goods are located. Finding themselves at the Silver Sail, an upscale tavern run by Tudnil . After traveling to multiple shops just to end up back at the tavern, the party discovers there is corruption on the island that has been causing crops and sometimes people to die.

They go to the Somerston Manor to offer their services in eradicating the corruption for gold, they get pointed to an abandoned church inhabited by a mage, Raina White, thought to be causing everything. After trekking through the forest, they see the destruction caused, crops are still standing, but are jet black and ooze a thick, oil like liquid.

Arriving at the dilapidated church, a fight immediately breaks out against skeletons and the mage. After a few spells are cast, and a skeleton loses a hand, they find out the mage isn't actually bad.
