Hired Gunn Campaign

A Dungeons & Dragons 5e game In the world of Aulyre's Eberron Gazetteer
1/6/2023 | Full
The Hired Gunn campaign is a gothic, steampunk, noir murder-mystery campaign that takes place in the Eberron Campaign setting, specifically in the Kingdom of Thrane.   This is a DnD campaign meant to take your character from 1st through 15th level through a series of serial adventures and is meant to feel like a noir murder-mystery T.V. series. You will level after every adventure and, like in a T.V. series, there will be a number of story arcs and recurring villains and allies along the way.   With the peace that has settled after the Treaty of Thronehold, Oriander Gunn and Silvia Poudre (pronounced pow-der) returned to Thrane with a bit of prestige and money in their bank accounts. Determined to use their experience during the war as forward scouts for the greater good, they decided to open an investigation agency. Gunn - Poudre Investigators is a premiere detective agency located in the city of SigilStar, in the Kingdom of Thrane.   Their investigative services were immediately in high demand. They quickly realized they would need to expand - hiring additional staff with quick wits, unique talents, and keen eyes. You are new members of the agency and immediately assigned to investigate a murder most foul...

Supporting Cast
  • Coranin TrueFingers d'Jorasco
Coranin TrueFingers d'Jorasco stands at 2'9" with kinky black hair, piercing blue eyes, and dark brown skin. An adherent of Boldrei, he believes strongly in his role as a d'Jorasco medic in supporting and strengthening the community. His deep voice soothes the sick and injured that he tends, lending to his calm bedside manner.
  • Knight Templar Elra Lionheart
Elra is a member of the Knights Templar. She is tall (5'11"), strong, and powerfully built, but still graceful. She has lightly tanned skin and warm brown eyes. Her hair is long, wavy, and blonde, so she often keeps it out of her face with braids.
  • Hariel Corus
Hariel is a middle-aged glassblower living in lower Sigilstar. She passed her brown hair and eyes on to her only serviving child, Briana. She lost both her sons and her husband during the course of the Last War and it has broken her. A shell of her former self, she is anxious and clings to her faith like a drowning man to a log.
  • Jenna Corus
Jenna is the daughter of Sercyl Corus, the proprietor and editor of the Sigil Star papers. She aspires to be an investigative reporter and, someday, the chief editor of the Sigil Star. Jenna is 5'5" and bursting with energy that can barely be contained. She has short, curly blonde hair and laughing hazel eyes.
  • Guard Captain Narvala Hetrion (Deceased)
Guard Captain Narvala is the captain of the Flame Ward watch. At 29, she is one of the younger guard captains but is well respected by the Sigilstar administration and senior watch officers. Often new watch members or Sigilians are surprised to learn she is a captain, but she tries to have a sense of humor about it. Narvala is 5'7" and toned. She has dark hair that is straight and cropped at the chin and deep green eyes. She is fond of smoking her pipe, laughs easily, and never misses a drill.
  • Oriander Gunn
Oriander is a half-elven native of Sigilstar and co-owner of the Gunn-Poudre Inquisitive Agency. He served with Silvia in the Last war as a forward scout. He has silver hair, and pale blue, moody eyes. Oriander always dresses in a suit and carries a cane due to an old war injury.
  • Silvia Poudre
Silvia is business to the core. Everything in her office is meticulously placed to make her job more efficient. She speaks brusquely; stupifyingly economic in her mannerisms and words. Luckily, she works with the charming and companionable Oriander, who does most of the talking with customers.
  • Tarsula CrookedRook
Tarsula CrookedRook is angry and vengeful. Years ago, Master Raedan ir'Savaci I lead a group of heroes from each town surrounding the Harrow Crowns in the pursuit and destruction of a pair of hag twins that had taken up residency in the forest. These were Tarsula's daughters. Though this happened a generation ago for the people of the towns, for Tarsula it was just yesterday. She has come through a manifest zone from Thelanis to reap vengeance on the towns, starting with the family of the man who took the lives of her daughters.
