Session #75: Missing Kids

General Summary

From the diary of "Garbles" Bellario     "Finally got some work to do. Some grandfatherly man, I forget his name, Eli maybe? Anyway, he came 'round to ask us to find his granddaughter, who'd been missing a few days. Missing persons could end bad or worse, so we left in a hurry for some abandoned farmstead. Fabian and Miles, two bigger dudes in the guild, and I investigated, checked out a few things. Found a few odds and ends on the grounds, then went in through a side door.   We started snooping around and some loony came boiling out of the basement, talkin' about wanting us to help him stop the whispers, all while bleeding from his ears and elsewheres. A couple enormous mosquito things came up after him, one of which sucked all the juice outta this dude. A couple hit Miles and Fabian, but I came out without a scratch. Mostly got through okay, though I think Miles was looking a little pale after losin' that much blood.   We headed to the basement an' took a look around, but didn't find much interesting, aside from a door I totally missed because I was busy looking at a whole bunch of other stuff. We then went through the door and found some scumbag who used some magic to put Fabian to sleep. I musta just stayed enough outta sight to avoid the spell, so I rushed in a made sure he didn't have another chance to throw some mumbo jumbo. I was cutting him up pretty good when Miles could finally stab straight with his spear and put a new mouth in his neck. Then we took all the kids back home.   Grandfather was all happy and thankful, which was nice. Glad I can help some people out."
