41: Crow's Hollow -Part 9- The Hunt for Old Man Jenkin's

General Summary

We begin the session at the end of combat from last session. The cornfields are ablaze, and the enemies are either dead or fleeing. It becomes clear very quickly that the party have no way of suppressing the flames so they opt to flee. Running back to the abandoned chapel to lick their wounds and rest.

• Icarus is espcially hurt, as he reached level 5 exhaustion while dying during the last fight.

While Icarus rest for the entirity of the following day to try and remove some of his exhaustion, the party head out and use Darnalore's Pass Without Trace spell, and Ophellia's Arcane Eye to check in on some locations.

• The Mayors Office

The two NPC's appear to be doing fine, and the cult haven't seemed to have targeted them in response to killing Giles Blackwood and his subordinates. The Mayor and the other staff seem to be working dilligently at the Mayor's office. However, due to the limitations of the Arcane Eye, they don't have a good idea of what they are planning. Although, Ophellia believes that she read the lips of Cornelious Thorne when he was asking if there where any reports on their group.   After allowing Icarus to rest for the day, the following morning party went on the search for Old Man Jenkin's beyond the river, where Winifred indicated that he was hiding. However, as they trapsed through the swampy forest, the party came under assault from a group of undead and a Tree Blight.

• We end the session at the end of the fight.

• After being hit by the undead, Asog, Darnalor and Ophellia are currently cursed.
