38: Crow's Hollow - Part 5 - The Old Mill

General Summary

We pick up the session with Darnalore continuing her solo infiltration of the Old Mill. After discovering the hostages in the basement below, all of whom were unconsicious and restrained by plant-like cocoons, Darnalore has Icarus come to help here while Zolv and Asog wait on the perimeter to rush in if something goes wrong. After carefully, and skillfully, releasing the hostages from the cocoon, the party hide them within their dimensional mansion, while they finish their investigation of the mill.   They decide that the time for stealth is over, and openly assault the guards outside before rushing upstairs to interrupt the ritual being conducted. The party systematically destroy the cultists and plant-human hybrids protecting the ritual, and Zolv pulls Sarah Blackwood out of the ritual by casting Vortex Warp on her, ending the ritual. The rest of the encounter was rather swift, with Sarah being restrained with a hold person spell until she was tied up and taken prisoner.  

• We ended the session as Sarah is being taken prisoner, and after Icarus flew off after intentionally releasing the haste spell he had cast on Asog early to incapacitate him for lols.
