Session 30 Report
General Summary
- A team were caught by the guards almost immediately and had to scatter
- Second A team were told to leave the inna s they were bringing too much attention
- The party met with Malifex a card devil who said he would trade with them an artefact that could dispel all illusions if they were to retrieve a deck of cards held by some bureaucrat within the city. on the condition the cards were never drawn by the party and returned to Malifax
- Nathanial werespidered out in the casino Brenstine quick thinking managed to keep him contained until the morning
- group then found an abandoned house to try and rest up throughout the day.
When we last left our adventurers Alexander the Human gunslinger, Ashtel the Dragonborn Drakewarden, Brenstine the Aasamir Scribe Wizard, Dharkon the Tiefling Dream Bard, Sarath the Earth Genasi Paladin and Nathanial the Werespider Bloodhunter Whispers turned to shouts as Alexander, Nathaniel, and Dharkon's presence alerted the guards, scattering the party like startled rabbits. Shunned from the inn for their unwelcome notoriety, they stumbled upon Malifex, a card devil promising an illusion-shattering artifact in exchange for a specific deck held by a city bureaucrat. The catch? The cards were forbidden fruit, never to be touched by mortal hands. As night fell, Nathaniel's lycanthropic curse erupted, transforming him into a monstrous werespider. Thankfully, Brenstine's quick thinking contained the beast before dawn. Seeking refuge and a plan, the party retreated to an abandoned house, their path forward a tangled web of promises and forbidden knowledge, forever marked by the loss of their feathery friend.
