Session 0.5: Planning and Character Creation Report

General Summary

Three of our adventurers have woken after serious accidents to find themselves not in Kansas anymore To-To. Tawyn found herself quite changed as she went from your average human vet to a sword wielding gnome who speaks with animals. Thudrick's days of trying to build his anarchist's haven are put on hold as this musician finds his music brings magic when played by his new half-orc hands. William Nye's look on the world comes from a new angle as a dwarf and this electrician is discovering a new energy of magic in this world.   The three are paired under a handler at the guild named Almanzo aka "Chippy". This paltry dragonborn gave no guidance but promises of a trial in the coming days.   Our party finds information from a lovely young human with pink hair at the information desk, a cheerful dwarf behind the bar, and a moon elf who had been drinking in solitude. While at the bar, Gronk, a long time resident of the guild, met the party and decided to make these three his new friends. The moon elf, Alan, aided the trio in finding their new gods-given abilities in this world. They still have much to learn, but they are on their way.   The following day, the party split. The main group talked their way into an unofficial quest to kill spiders in the attic of a tailor's shop. William wandered the purple district and found all about the pantheon, the rainbow people, and the districts of the city. When they all met up again, the party set out to squish some bugs.   And squish they did. The party defeated 11 spiders by their own hands and crushed several clutches of eggs. The rest of the spiders were handled by a fire that got out of hand. Knowing they couldn't be caught at the scene of the fire as their actions hadn't been sanctioned by the guild, the quartet returned to get their reward.
