Session 38: Founding a new Village Report

General Summary

Ysault volunteered to help escort Cedrick Newmoor and a group of workers to the site of a proposed new village. If completed it promised to be a safe stop along the Imperial Highroad.   Quattor, Gingan and a new arrival to town, the Tauren Nallu, also answered the call and set out into the wilds.   Spring had come to the Reach in full bloom, the weather was perfect and the local wildlife was content to let the convoy pass un-assaulted.   Not long into the journey the group encountered an lone injured guardsmen, hiding himself in the brush off the road. He had fallen victim to a raptor attack and been separated from his squad.   Quattor was able to heal the man's wounds with dose of a prototype concoction that while effective left the man with severe pain and scarring. Quattor, dissatisfied with this result, went back to the drawing board.   Once the guardsman's leg was healed Ysault and Nallu set out to reunite him with his unit. Though they found tracks and the corpse of a felled raptor; it appeared the guardsmen had presumed their fellow dead and left a makeshift grave.   While returning to the caravan the group were set upon by the raptors, but a combination of Ysault's level head and a primal roar from the might Tauren sent the opportunistic creatures scurrying back into the long grass.   The group arrived safely at the site and now construction can now begin in earnest.
