Session 106: Puppets & Projects

General Summary

  Mas'Uld was the Dragon Punchers' next destination.  Cornelius, Osdra, and Fi'kri Mara'hid needed time to research how to bring Chari back from the leyline before her consciousness was lost forever.  The rest of the group needed some time to catch up with their friends and family while in the city.   Jinn took a moment to check in on Mani to see how she had been faring since the ordeal in Tilesía.  The pair ended up in a heated argument in one of the palace courtyards.  There Mani revealed a new development in her position as a favored soul of Sarenrae--a set of angelic wings.  She revealed her insecurities to her brother who eventually relented and returned the birthgift he had "borrowed".   The Knight of Cups had been busy in his own right.  He sought out the king and queen to officially ask for Mani's hand in marriage.  To his surprise, they were perfectly amenable to the request.  It seems since the pair's relationship had been revealed, the royal family had been in talks with the Order of the Chalice to navigate the political landmines their relationship would inevitably create.   At Dorgeiros Hall the group met with members of the theatre where Priya performed with the Fiseti dance troupe.  They purchased an exquisite marionette with the intention of transferring Chari's consciousness into the wooden body.  However, they would need an expert in experimental magic craftsmanship.  Fortunately, Tabitha Burke happened to be just such a person.
