The Adventure Begins Report

General Summary

During the harvest festival of Loudwater, there was an attack on the Risen Moon Market by Dretch. At the mention of the dam near Karse having been destroyed recently, the party chose to investigate. Coming across, a few different enemies during their two day journey they encountered several different monsters of strange origins.   At sun set of the second day, the trio found a strange bridge spanning the river. Volcanic Basalt of some kind having arched over the waters and protected by Myconid that were quickly dispatched, despite their continuous attempts to infect the Warforge, Jade Moon, without success.   The sudden appearance of a robed man covered in mushrooms startled the group and unnerved them as his statement of being given over to Zuggtmoy, the Mistress of Fungi and Lady of Rot and Decay. As the waters rose and the light ebbed, the reflection in the water created a perfect circle within the waters, creating a portal that allowed a Hezrou to enter into our world.   The man in the robes vanished in a flurry of spores before the beast attacked. Held at bay with the powerful arms of Jade before he was killed by the kindly grandmother turtle, Talulah.   Now the are resting at the bridge, trying to figure out what their next move will be.

Rewards Granted

Combat Experience: 2800 XP   Shout outs:   Jade Moon - 100 xp for controlling the boss monster and limiting its options in combat.   Talulah - 100 xp for using Inflict Wound to the fullest extent and eroding the Hezrou's skull into dust.   Innetes - 100 xp for returning a bag of fine flour to the wife of the killed baker instead of keeping it for use in making explosives.
