Session 32: A Few Nights Out on the County
General Summary
With Ardit Amedeo leaving in a flurry to head south, the remaining members of the Scions of Betony were left holding down the county. At least until the fall festival on the first of the month. Until then, Chuck Norris, Ivom Duskleaf, and Taric Vinmark set for some intrigue based espionage. The three set off from the Village of Stachys on horse back, and disguised as commoners. Before making it to the Village of Voinaris, the group encountered a treant name Rueleaf. He warned them of a dangerous plant that has been killing many things indiscriminately. The group realizing it was beyond their ability at the moment, gathered information and continued on to the settlement. Once in the Village of Voinaris, the disguessed party made their way to a tavern and tried to gather more information about some of the nobles, started some rumors about the Lotheeds, and tried to talk up the upcoming festivities in the Village of Stachys. Finishing there, they moved on to the Thorp of Sotto set just north of town. There they learned of another creature terrorizing the population here, yet the local Baronet, Fi Paben, is never in town to care for the issue. While Chuck Norris, dressed as "Trixie" talked to the few at the tavern, Ivom Duskleaf and Taric Vinmark made their way to Fi Paben house. Finding it unoccupied they made their way in and proceeded to leave with a chest of goods. The party made their way back to Stachys to ready themselves for the upcoming festivities. Split throughout this, Chuck Norris made his way as himself to visit Sepsina Crabbe, where she was really mad at him. So he spent much of his downtime trying to make up his past "mistakes" in their relationship. On the day of the Fall festival, the group made their way to the tournament grounds and are looking to get involved in the actives as more people are arriving.
