Session VIII: Ambushing The Heathen Camp Report

General Summary

Quinn was still not doing so hot, so he didn't end up coming through. I shelved Medved as training soldiers while the sabotage mission begins. We didn't get through the whole raid, we stopped during the initiation of the sabotage. Medved will be present for both missions.   There is a lot of prep to do for a mission such as this. It's taken two episodes to set up, so the raid has to be eventful and fun. It has to have a big pay off.   Maeve is rushed to camp. While the healer gets the wound closed and cleaned up, he tells Grorr that the can't help Maeve with a new arm but that he knows who can. He takes them to Athana, the apothecary who seems a little peculiar. Ram and Maeve both take note of how they have suspisions about the woman.   Athana makes Maeve a new arm that's built from the same magic that created the Birch Witches. Maeve has a vision-like dream where Sadistic Sadie Branchmaster tries to coax Maeve into her embrace, but Maeve refuses. When she comes to, Ramm and Kog return from their one-shot adventure.   Grorr talks with Maeve and gives her the chance to go back home, but Maeve is in this until the very end. Maeve returns to her friends as they prepare for the battle. They go around the camp meeting new friends and allies. They bring Gallorek, Athana and Crush Skull as their sabateurs.   We went from 5-9 and still this is all we were able to get done. It works out though, as we didn't have our boy Medved. Kog has used disguise self and went to investigage Onkal Scrum's tent. He doesn't understand whats being said, but he watched Rozak and The Behemoth feed Onkal to the bugbear tied up in his tent. A small civil war breaks out through the camp, causing complete and utter chaos among the ranks.    Ramsteed and Maeve are currently on the hill overlooking the camp with their saboteur squads.
