Dolaris Destroyed

The adventurers have located the Tome of Ages, but a man in a green tunic got to it first, leaping out of a window and vanishing. Now the adventurers need to track down the man in order to get the Tome back, but a larger threat lingers on the horizon.

~ Previously On ~
The party has been tasked by Sonaranth to find and retrieve the Tome of Ages for the Sapphire Library. The party ventured to Dolaris to find the blue-bound book, and quickly irritated the local population. They were, however, successful in finding the location of the Tome! Unfortunatly, a man in a green tunic got there first, with the party only catching a glimpse of him before he jumped out a window and vanished.

~ Now ~
The man in the green tunic leaped out the window and vanished, and when you lean out the window, you can see no traces of him. However, as you are peering around trying to figure out where he might have gone, a piercing whistle splits the air, and the sky begins to darken. This is deeply worrisome, as it is only just past noon, and there was no indication that it was going to rain today.

The Tome of Ages

Read the Report
Scalespiral has long been known across the multiverse as the ancestral home of the dragons, but no one ever really wonders why. A blue dragon named Sonaranth thinks she might have tracked down a book that holds the answer, though. If only she could get her claws on it, she just might find out how it all began.
‌Sonaranth has recruited a team of adventures to help her obtain the book for her horde, the Sapphire Library, since she couldn’t possibly leave it to go searching. Unfortunately, as a dragon whose horde is a library instead of a mound of gold, she doesn’t have a huge budget, so she’s only been able to recruit adventurers that are just starting to make a name for themselves. (Level 1 players). She’s sure it’ll be fine, though; how hard could it be to track down and retrieve a single book?
