Session 1: Kick-Starting a War

General Summary

Three citizens of the Musthave, and current workers for the Bartertown of Kick-Start (Driskoll, Rinsler, and Sobo), were hired to find out why a group of Remnants stopped communicating with them. Meanwhile, a certain Brother Hood (Lug Nut) was living it up as a member of the Church of the Chrome, taking off with them to raid the Kick-Start during a Megastorm. The first group entered the outpost, finding a slaughter with a single survivor, who sent them after the StarTruckers, who had taken some of the Remnants as slaves, and Old Crank. The War party, on the other side of things, ran into the Megastorm and handled it relatively well, until a horde of mutated Boars began attacking them. After the boars were scared off, the war party began their siege on Kick-Start, with the Megastorm helping with what they'd never before accomplished, cracking the walls of the Bartertown. The first party caught up to the StarTruckers, killed them, rescued the Remnants and Old Crank, along with Sobo managing to steal one of their trucks for himself; they made it back to Kick-Start too late, however, watching it burn from beyond the attention of the war party. Lug Nut, however, was approached by the Vicious called Ram Rod during their raiding, and was told to follow out past the war party, where Ram Rod shot him in the back and left him for dead. Luckily for Lug Nut, Crank sent the party to recover him and brought him back to the Iron Ring, where the old Lore Keeper, and Torque, hope that he will help take down the Bishop of Chrome.
