The ablity to move and copy articles into another world

What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?

So I'm someone who comes up with ideas for the world and then relises that it dosen't fit and come up with something better but sometimes I think it would be better in another world. However, to do so I would have to copy and paste everything in the curent world I created. Then I also got thinking if there's any items or titles, like for rulers, that I'm using through multiple worlds I'd have to make a new article and copy it.

How does this feature request address the current situation?

This would make it easier for creaters to create the worlds they want. If they wanted to keep some of the characters they created but move them to a diffrent world that would be great.

What are other uses for this feature request?

The ablity to copy and/or move articles not only would be helpful for worlds that have simular things like table top worlds but also places that have simular views or locations but just need a change. Like creating a clone or copy that the character of a story has to fight. This is also great for titles for diffrent worlds.

Follow up

Apparently this is already there in advanced options so to make it clearer that this can be done would be nice.

A feature very close to this to this already exists under the Advanced Options tab in the article editor sidebar.   A strategy I find useful when making an article that might or might not fit in a given world is to build it in a separate world I have set aside for 'tests.' If I decide it does fit, I can use the option in the sidebar to move it to the appropriate world, then use the auto-linker to build the necessary reference links into it. Super convenient!

You can already move articles between worlds. And you can duplicate them when you turn on the flag for that (the duplication was recently implemented).

You can already move articles to a different world (via Advanced Options > Special Actions > Move article to a different world). Cloning articles has been suggested (and accepted) before, with more research needed.
