sorting articles catagories- alphabetical

What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?

  I wish I could sort Articles 7 Categories alphabetically, or by size, or by population (locations), or dates (events), or by most recently updated.

How does this feature request address the current situation?

  Say I add a new location, and then I want to put it alphabetically in order, but it is not quick to do so manually.

What are other uses for this feature request?

If it also sorted by last event dates - it would help me design my timelines.

Hello Beans!   This suggestion did not get a huge amount of support and I also find it a bit hard to pin down what are the exact objectives for it. For this reason I will be closing this down. Please feel free to resubmit at a later time. I will suggest that a list is created for more specific requirements and that some thought is put into the effect that those requirements might have on articles/events that do not match those requirements.

    I would love to be able to put articles and article categories into folders. Ones that aren't seen on the published page, and which aren't restricted to a single parent article or category. Just like folders on a desktop, solely for my sanity when trying to organise hundreds of articles.

    Sorting Alphabetically is already possible in the "Articles & Categories" tab. Other than that, this suggestion is to vague on which fields you want to sort on.
