API to read the meta

I've created multiple worlds that diverge at one point in history, I'd like to take the meta from one as the starting point for the others. I also have just under 39 worlds, and would like to make sure the meta is correct and complete for all of them, the current tabbed format for it is very tedious to do anything in that isn't "I'm focusing on this meta now". I also tried exporting my world, found out the meta isn't included in any way, if I found out after losing my world, I'd be quite amiss to recover meta from memory.
How does this feature request address the current situation?
It would be a way to verify/peruse meta data for multiple worlds.What are other uses for this feature request?
I imagine once there is an api, the export can include it's output, and allow it to be included in the backup.The Team's Response
