Multiple 'AFFILIATED ORGANIZATION, PRIMARY'

One issue I have is I want to have a character come up as a 'Notable Character' in multiple places but WorldAnvil has made it so only the Primaries will do this features and you can only select one.

I purchased WorldAnvil to make my life easier to have stuff like this. Not having this feature where I can have character slinked to families and other organizations is frustrating.

Follow up

To those who are taking offence for 'my tone,' I apologise you have read it this way but a tone cannot be received through text as it's the manner someone speaks verbally.   By what I said, when I purchased WorldAnvil for a select reason isn't being disrespectful. It's letting the read I presumed to be the developers know, I came to use the product for a select reason and I did not find it fit the bill so I gave them the information. If I had said something like "This website is terrible and you should feel bad, because you don't have x, y or z then I would agree.   So please do not take criticism and me making a suggestion as a 'attack' on "This community that was built on mutual respect." I have nothing but respect for the people that have made this amazing place DM's and players can use. But saying I am being disrespectful because I inputted my frustration, I do not agree with.
Second point, to be more productive rather than focusing on the fabricated negativity.   Yes I agree with A Wild Skeleton to a degree. I understand what a primary is but right now the website has it so secondary are seen as less important and therefor don't focus on adding these people to 'notable.' which I like. I feel like someone can be a Primary Notable person within multiple groups such as families and businesses, but not be notable in other organizations such as religions or communities.

The Team's Response

Hey there beans!   Yeah I can see how this can help - we can add the secondaries as "Other Members" or something similar to :)

Yeah, I'll admit I've seen a few things that are little bit lacking, but not everyone can think of everything at the same time.   As for the Suggestive Warfare; I think faults lay on both sides, unintentional yours, and intentional theirs.   Yeah, your statement was a little direct, maybe mildly demanding, but it still holds as a valid point (but maybe not as peace loving as others would prefer though).   Though as a born member of the demographic where both types of communication and analytical issues occur, perhaps some of the over-responders might consider how their reactionary content could make the W.A community look.   Developing a patient and skilled mind in the art of taking your time with what you're reading in a calm and open minded manner is just as important (if not more) as thinking about how you should structure your suggestion and express your feelings.

Politics aside, I also have ran into this problem. I have a nation whose ruler is also automatically part of an organization (like an alliance of nations, let's say something like NATO) and I wanted them to show up as both notable members of the nation (as their leader) and the organization (as a member)

As a point of constructive criticism: While verbal tone cannot be communicated in text, it is possible for the written word to come across as rude or short, and while it is difficult to impossible to completely avoid the risk of reader misinterpretation, it does come upon the writer to nonetheless make the attempt to ensure that their wording is, minimally, as clear as possible as to what they intend to say.   Additionally, I would recommend working further on punctuation and proofreading, as it was difficult for me to read your followup due to inconsistent (and awkward) punctuation (especially with placement or lackthereof of commas), and also due to occasional awkward word choice.   Note that I only offer this critique due to your followup specifying 'critique is not an attack' in a manner that made it sound like you advocate for constructive critique. As such, I offer you some constructive critique to help improve your ability to communicate in the written word, by pointing out areas that could use some work.   That all aside: I, too, would much appreciate the ability to make a character have multiple primary organizations - I have a few characters who play major roles in multiple organizations, some of whom are of vital plot importance (or are even main protagonists). It'd be nice to have them show up as important under more than one organization.

I ran into this as a problem also, however I would agree I would love to the the characters listed under the organization in a secondary position. Maybe calling them members not notable members.
And for the Wild Skeleton I find the your tone no more respectful.

Do you understand the meaning of primary? Because the suggestion is kind of changing that.   I think, what you mean is that you'd like is if a user has an organization as a secondary, this character to also appear on the organization page. - With that I agree, but this is not what the suggestion is about.
P.S. Saying "I have paid for this so they should do it for me" is showing how much respect you have for people and the way you treat others. This was the primary reason I have gone for -300. it's not only what we are suggesting that is important, it is also how. This community was built on mutual respect.
