feature customization world-management
What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
Sometimes, I find I only want really want to make Characters and Timeline events for a world, and that's really all it needs for now, but the presence of all the article types and empty boxes I don't plan to fill can cause a bit of, unnecessary stress
How does this feature request address the current situation?
By giving options, per world, to choose to entirely remove certain features, article types, and sometimes detailed boxes from your dashboard and article editor, it could allows you to focus on the areas that you need to, without quickly falling into infinite rabbitholes of detail or just find your world really disorganized and being overwhelmed by the choice of features.
What are other uses for this feature request?
overall, when building a more minimal world, the dashboard would feel less overwhelming and cluttered for what one is trying to do.
The Team's Response
First, thank you for your feedback here - I am sorry to hear that you are stressed. To clarify, you can "remove features" already - whether it be RPG tools, Writer tools, or Worldbuilding tools. You can disable these by going under your account's "features" page under your profile icon.
Now, while this suggestion has been declined, I do have some good news. This is yet another feature we plan on implementing into the new UI/UX update to the system. In this new interface, you can choose which features will be in front of you while you create.
