Allow comments from players in session reports

New Feature Addition · Campaign manager · Created by Cirrusoftheunseenhights
closed

I would like to give my players the ability to comment on session reports. Currently, I write the report but I usually only find out at the next session if players had some additions.

The new feature would help with the player engagement in my campaign and the overall storytelling post session.

Players could also interact in the comments.

The Team's Response

Hi! As some users have pointed out, this is already possible. Session reports are articles, and all articles have a comments section (if you have community features enabled in your world settings).

Hey there! This is already possible! If community features are enabled your players can comment on any articles - reports included - also your players can use Memories - mine do

This is needed if Worldanvil ever seeks to be a one-stop shop for both Worldbuilding and be an Online TTRPG session running site.

me personally, I have given up on any interaction with players when it comes to WA as nobody will register on a site just to comment when they can do it in the vtt or on let's say discord instead

let it go, let it gooooo

If you have the Community Features enabled, every article already has a comment section :)

Session reports already have comment sections, can you clarify the difference you're looking for?

Session reports already have a comment section, like any article on World Anvil. Alternative is to use Discussion Boards to create interactions.
