What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
I would like to detail out existing, selected content in an article using the quick editor.
This new article should be linked to the selection, as this is additional information to the selection.
How does this feature request address the current situation?
Given text is selected in an article, while the quick editor is opened, than the text is copied to the article name and a checkbox is shown to link the new article to the selected text.
In this case, detailing out existing content is easily possible.
What are other uses for this feature request?
If you use a top down approach in adding content to your world, you create overview pages and add details later.
In this case you will have to create a page containing the detail and linking it afterwards. By doing this, you have keep track of naming etc.
By using the "select and create" workflow, names and links are created automatically.
The Team's Response
Good timezones beans!
Thank you for your comments, sadly this did not receive much support and it is a bit complicated BUT I think I can make the message after an article is created better
so you can easily copy / paste it into your current text.
I have added copy to clipboad buttons and redesigned the section.
